Xdossier

Xdossier and Portable Web Package (PWP) are synonymous. PWP is the latest version written in a less formal style, the name also more expressive. It is recommended to read first the PWP.

Xdossier is a technique to order and package documents as one collection that is easy to navigate using a web browser. It works both: offline and loaded into a web server. The top directory has only one file (index.html) to make clear where to start.

To test the zipped Xdossier - Hello World:

Download and save into your local disk.
Unzip, keeping the file structure (check the Use folder names in WinZip).
It will create one directory called hello.
Click on the file hello/index.html file.
